From: 2004 Fleet Captain Scott Law
Date: May 28, 2004
Hey Gang,
It is high
time that I start doing my duties as this years Fleet Captain and the 1st
order of Business is to reaffirm our Fleet Championship Series. We will kick off the year with the COSA
Hummfest Regatta on Lake Hefner, June 5.
This is a one day event with multiple starts all day long and short
races. The Second event will be the
Lighthouse Regatta @OCBC on June 26 & 27. This is a Two day Event or One if
we decide as a Fleet to make that happen. Then back to COSA for the Mad Dog and
Englishman Regatta on August 7th & 8th on Lake
Hefner. Last would be the Labor Day
Regatta @ OCBC although I cannot find this anywhere on the Schedule at the
Club. 2nd Order of Business
is that if you have not paid your Fleet Dues @ the meeting that was held @
Justin and Karen’s House then you need to Contact Karen Howard and make
arrangements before the Fleet Championship starts. Only the persons who have
paid their dues will be included in the scoring. The Dues are $50.00 Dollars
again this year. 3rd Order
of Business is that Jim Alspaugh has volunteered to have a Fleet Party at his
new house and we are working on a date for that to happen, so look for a time
for that to come soon. I am forwarding
a copy of this letter to Andy Davison to ensure that we are covered for the
Commodores Cup Contention as well as Commodore Anderson and Bruce McDermott so
that he can post this on the web site under the Fleets Section. Hope to see all of you on Sat. June 5th.
Sincerely,
C. Scott Law
